Not Lovers - KakuHida
Author's note: I finally finished this! I wanted to write a KakuHida fanfic (an actual one) for awhile and I got it done last night with some help :3 This is very loosely inspired by the roleplays that go on at IMVU. We were in a friend's bed one night when the idea just...popped into my head XD I think I ended it well. It's not too corny or cliché.

Kakuzu wasn’t exactly greedy. He was more along the lines of possessive. As in, if something belonged to the banker, don’t take it, touch it, or even breathe on it if you had any intention whatsoever of living through the next five minutes. He was like that when it came to his weapons, clothing, and his money, among other things.
It was this possessive nature that had sparked the conversation now going on in the Akatsuki kitchen.

The wind blew back the chunk of blonde hair hanging over the boy's 'eye'. He was looking around, scanning for something. He wasn't sure what, yet. He just knew that he was in the mood to make something, and he needed a little bit of inspiration. He was outside the Akatsuki hide out, trying to wind himself down from the most recent meeting.
It had stressed him out just a little bit.
He moved a hand up to his hair to brush it back a little bit and let out a sigh. "There's nothing out here unnnn..."

A little something I cooked up in creative writing class yesterday. We had to write a 12 lined poem that uses similies to contrast Happy and Sad, which is what I did. 
Since I've become obsessed with it lately, I sort of had Glee in mind when writing this - it doesn't have to be about Glee, though. I had in mind a Mercedes/Kurt/Blaine love triangle, but really this could mean anything. I love the similies it helped create, though, so yeah.
